Not much information is known about this Valencian painter and draughtsman. He studied at the San Carlos Royal Academy. When he moved to Madrid, he joined the San Fernando Royal Academy.
His most famous work is Colección General de los Trages que en la actualidad se usan en España, a work devoted to regional costumes and types.
