udent at the San Fernando Royal Academy. Disciple of Manuel Salvador Carmona, with whom he learnt the art of sweet carving. He devoted himself to the reproduction of paintings, devotional prints, portraits, book illustrations, etc. He took part in some of the important collections of the late 18th century, such as the ‘Collection of different views of the magnificent temple of the Royal Monastery of El Escorial’, the ‘Company for the engraving of the paintings of the King of Spain’, the ‘Collection of portraits of illustrious Spaniards’, the ‘Royal riding school of Charles IV’, etc.
