Engelbrecht, Martin (1684-1756)

He was a German engraver and publisher in Baroque times.
Engelbrecht worked in Augsburg making ornamental engravings and ‘vedute’ engravings together with his brother Christian (1672-1735).
His series of ‘exotic’ engravings, published between 1742 and 1745, on the wars in Germany, is well known.
