Gabriel Hiuquier (1695-1772) was a French engraver, publisher and print dealer. He was a leading figure in the production of ornamental engravings in the 18th century.
His son Jean-Gabriel Huquier (1725-1805) followed the family trade, his father-in-law was also a print dealer, Jacques Chéreau. The two were partners for at least three years. In 1772 he moved to England, where he devoted himself mainly to painting and drawing, leaving engraving aside.
