Landaluze, Victor Patricio (1828-1889)

Of Spanish origin, he soon travelled to Cuba, where he developed his career. A representative of Cuban costumbrismo, his works depict guajiros, landowners and slaves, and a somewhat idealised vision of life on the sugar plantations.
