López Enguídanos, Tomás (1775-1814)

He studied drawing at the San Carlos Academy in Valencia, then moved to Madrid to continue his studies at the San Fernando Royal Academy.
He was a merit academician of San Fernando and engraver to Charles IV. He specialised in the engraving of portraits and the reproduction of paintings, taking part in the major publications produced as a result of the Enlightenment policy. He produced many engravings based on drawings by Vicente López.
