Illustrator, engraver and painter. He trained in Barcelona and from an early age began to collaborate in the magazines of the time, La Esquella de la Torratxa, Hispania, Ilustración Artística and even Blanco y Negro. In 1901 he travelled to Paris, where he took up residence until 1943. There he produced drawings for magazines such as L’Assiete au Beurre, Le Rire and Frou-Erou. He learned the etching technique from the engraver Luc-Albert Moreau. In 1932 he was forced to abandon engraving due to vision problems and devoted himself entirely to painting.
