Pencil, pen and grey wash on laid paper.

Christ and the Virgin on a throne of clouds with angels and cherubs. Executed with great contrast in the treatment of the wash, to accentuate the chiaroscuro effects. On the edges of the paper, the heads and hands are analysed independently, in different positions and attitudes. In the lower part, a study for a male figure wearing a crown.
