Signed on the back in ink: Bdo López [Bernardo López Piquer, 1799-1874]. On the back inscription in ink: Obtuvo pase de Junta General de 16 de Dicbre de 1848. Signed in pencil: Eduardo Ornero.

The Academy of San Fernando preserves a drawing by Ignacio Garcia that copies the same motif, inspired by a painting by Francisco Bayeu located in the San Pedro chapel of the Toledo cathedral. Ref. No. Academy: P-004.
