Rural scene with a pencil grid, probably a sketch of an unlocated mural painting. Given its clearly “noucentista” aesthetics and content, it could be dated around 1912, but Torres-García occasionally made touch-ups and re-dated works done earlier.
Pencil and wash on vellum paper.
