ENRIC GALWEY (1864-1931)
A disciple of Joaquim Vayreda de Olot, he traveled to Paris where he specialized in landscape following the guidelines of the Barbizon School and later ascribing to Impressionism. He exhibited both in Barcelona and Madrid. He did not lavish himself in engraving, which is why his works in this genre are few, where he applied his principles and objectives to the landscape.
Catalonia, early XX century.
Etching, aquatint and soft varnish on vellum paper.
Good condition. The image only shows the plate, as it preserves the margins.
