Etching, electric roulette and drypoint on laid paper.

Etching strokes in different intensities. Electric roulette strokes, which leave a grass texture in the background, following the extended wing. And touches of drypoint that darken the shadows of the mermaid’s hair and eyes, the shadows of her left arm and also reinforce some waves in the foreground.

In the lower right margin there is the stamp: “Mariano Fortuny/y Madrazo”.
