Print from the work Vasi, candelari, cippi, sarcofagi, tripodi, lucerne, ed ornamenti antichi disegnati ed incisi dal Cav. Gio. Batt. Piranesi published in the year MDCCLXXIIX, published in Rome in 1778 in two volumes. Begun by Giovanni-Battista around 1768, it seems that the work was continued by his son Francesco after the artist’s death.

Wide margins. Marked imprint. Very good state of preservation.
