Wood Gothic processional cross with carving decoration, and painted and engraved reliefs. Extremes of the cross with Gothic traces showing tetramorphs figures painted one hand, and on the other side, figure of Magdalena and the pelican and faults in two other motifs that have partially disappeared. Hexagonal body with golden pinnacles and polychrome in red and blue.
Despite its regular state of preservation, it’s a rare an exceptional piece. One of the few preserved examples of goldsmith’s transposition made with less expensive materials, and which technically connects with the production of fifteenth-century Barcelona jewellery.
